I am an instructor of acting (scene study, Shakespeare, beginning-advanced acting and more) and movement (movement for actors, acting for dancers). My approach to teaching is very much centered around collaboration: between teacher and student and between different approaches and methods/techniques.

Before leaving NC, I spent a wonderful three years as Assistant Professor of Theatre & Speech at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC and most recently I was an Instructor for the School of Theatre and Dance at Dean College as well as a guest workshop instructor at Wellesley College.

I have taught at New York Film Academy, Davidson College, Greensboro College, Boston Ballet, Wellesley College, All Stars Program (NYC), Barrington High School, Ballet Adriatico (Italy), and conducted Shakespeare workshops throughout Southern New England.

I have directed full scale productions and short plays at Greensboro College, Wellesley Summer Theatre and Trinity Rep. Conservatory and assistant musical directed at the Tony award winning Trinity Rep. Company. I also have a great passion for developing new work and served two seasons on the Literary Wing of the Lark Playwrights Theatre.

In addition to "traditional" classes & productions, I am also available to teach “Pilates for Actors" and “MELT for Actors" workshops. Please contact me through the "contact page" for more information on any of these or if you are interested in having me come to your college/organization.
